The red indicator light does not turn off automatically when replacing the filter.

Press and hold the 'Water Filter' button on the exterior dispenser or interior door panel for 3 seconds. The light turns off or changes to blue.
LG LT700P
Press and hold "Water Filter" or "Light/Filter" button for 3 seconds until light icon turns off.
